Blue Horizon Pool Complex

What makes a pool the perfect size for a community? Do people truly gather in the center of the water? And how can kid-friendly splash features be incorporated without relying on brightly colored plastic? By thoughtfully exploring these questions, the team designed an ideal, narrow pool environment that prioritizes comfort, function, and aesthetics. Subtle water-spray features anchor each end of the pool, while abundant in-water lounging and generous wall seating encourage relaxation and social connection. A dedicated, fenced play zone with Big Blue Blocks offers a dry-space retreat for children ready to take a break from the water—creating a balanced, engaging pool experience for all ages.

The welcoming entrance building houses restrooms, drinking fountains, and storage facilities, all designed to match the architectural style of the original Jackson Hall, ensuring a cohesive community aesthetic. It also features a versatile bar-top counter with a roll-down door, providing flexibility for the pool ambassador or HOA lifestyle manager to distribute popsicles or sell merchandise during summer events.
