Lawndale Shopping Center

1

This existing shopping center was in need of revitalization on a tight budget. Strategic design features introduced will create new energy and visual interest, beginning with a bold mural rendered in neutral tones of crème, gray, and black. Placed in key visual zones along the façade, the mural transforms what was once a blank, windowless exterior into a vibrant and engaging presence.

Additional thoughtful upgrades—including modern sconce lighting that complements the existing metal arched awnings, new contemporary black benches, and refreshed metal awnings—further elevate the overall design. By removing the infilled planter stonework, the project also creates opportunities for new murals and flowerbeds, softening the façade and enhancing the pedestrian experience. Together, these targeted improvements breathe new life into the center, increasing both its appeal and rentability for this West Texas property.
