This fast-growing sport is wildly popular, yet it presents unique challenges—from noise control and spectator shade to creating comfortable spaces to relax while waiting for an open court. The design team addressed these needs by incorporating landscape berms with generous cedar tree plantings to help buffer sound, shaded bar-style seating at each court, and a central gathering area featuring ample seating, festoon lighting, layered landscaping, and a dedicated location for live music performances.
Mirroring the Blue Horizon Pool’s facility, the welcoming entrance building features identical interior amenities. It includes a versatile bar-top counter with a roll-down door, enabling the HOA lifestyle manager to distribute refreshments or promotional gear during special events.
Close attention to detail was critical, evident in the custom metal fence design, security access control, strategic camera placement, and courts painted in Pecan Square’s signature marketing colors. Paired with creative court names and signage developed by the Hillwood marketing team, the result is a vibrant, well-designed destination—perfectly designed for picklers of all levels.
