The Enclave

Whether I join a project at its inception—my favorite place to begin—or step in midway through, I bring a fresh perspective focused on strengthening and clarifying the project’s overall theme. At TriPointe Homes’ The Enclave, this approach translated into strategic brainstorming for all community amenities, from entry signage and pocket parks to celebrating the site’s beautiful pond.

Although the community was already under construction, key recommendations included nestling pocket parks within two existing groves of mature trees to provide natural shade and selecting Kompan natural play equipment with height-sensitive designs to preserve unobstructed lake views for premium home sites. By prioritizing welcoming access points and clear sightlines to the pond, the entire neighborhood gained the ability to easily reach the water’s edge and enjoy generous spaces for hiking and rest.

Spending time on site—walking the land alongside the client—allowed me to identify the most functional trail routes and thoughtfully position each amenity element, enhancing a community beautifully defined by its abundant tree canopy.
